IT Engineer | Cybersecurity & Identity | Founder of ITBlogs.ca & YouTube Creator

I'm Jaspreet Singh. I work in IT and have hands-on experience with cybersecurity, identity and access management, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure operations.

I run ITBlogs.ca, where I create technical content that addresses real IT challenges. I explain what can go wrong in production, why it happens, and how to solve it effectively.

On this platform, I avoid marketing buzzwords and shortcuts.

Instead, I focus on the basics, a security-first mindset, and sharing real-world experience.

What I Focus On

  • Exploring the essentials of cybersecurity and diving into real-world attack scenarios
  • I specialize in identity and access management, harnessing tools like Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access to keep systems secure
  • I fortify Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring robust security at every layer
  • I address risks and misconfigurations in legacy authentication
  • Building home labs, running hands-on tests, and experimenting safely to push boundaries
  • Solving real-world challenges drawn from both enterprise and managed service provider environments

Why I Write on ITBlogs.ca

ITBlogs.ca is my place to keep technical notes and share what I’ve learned. I started the blog to:

  • Share lessons I’ve learned from real-world situations
  • Help other IT professionals avoid common mistakes
  • Encourage focusing on strong fundamentals instead of shortcuts
  • Point out security risks that people often overlook

Every article I write comes from my own experience, not just theory.

My Learning & Teaching Philosophy

I strongly believe:

    • Basic knowledge is more important than just having certificates.
    • You learn real skills by making things and taking them apart.
    • Having a setup at home to practice is important for learning.
    • Security should be included from the start, not added later.

This mindset shapes both my blog posts and my video content.
